Le Sang des Seigneurs
In the Middle Ages, Occitania (the southern half of present-day France) was ruled by several noble lords who shared political power. But Occitania was united by a common culture and language.
The Grenache and Roussanne grapes are grown on the rolled pebble soils called sandstone, which are characteristic of the Costières de Nîmes appellation. Harvested at night or early in the morning, the berries are gently pressed before cold fermentation under controlled temperature to preserve all the fruit and freshness. Aged on fine lees in stainless steel tanks.
A rich and balanced white Costères de Nîmes with a captivating nose of almond, pear in syrup and hints of candied lemon. The palate is full and fruity with a fresh finish.
A perfect wine for aperitif and to accompany white meats, river fish, shellfish and cheeses.
